In what’s become as much a tradition on Thanksgiving as turkey and pumpkin pie, more than 2,000 runners and walkers braved bitter temperatures to participate in the annual PNC Bank Thanksgiving Day Run/Walk for MS. Steve Sinko of Delaware Running Company took top male honors in the 10K, racing a blistering 32:55, while Kirsten Belair of Team New Balance took first place female in the 5K, setting a new age group state record with an 18:22.
[Editor’s note: This Town Square Turkey was happy to set her own PR in the 10K, despite a pre-Thanksgiving feast with too much firewater…Hope TSD readers’ holidays were just as fulfilling!]
