It’s not often that an organization has the opportunity to honor two legends in one night, but Easter Seals Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently did just that at their 2013 Annual Dinner. More than 300 supporters paid tribute to longtime board member and former DuPont executive Jim Kearns and recent President/CEO and lifelong disability advocate Bill Adami. The organization presented Jim Kearns with the “Lifetime of Service” Award for his quarter-century of service to the organization, and Bill Adami, who passed away last year, with the announcement of “The Adami Fund for Innovation,” designed to continue his commitment to independence, dignity and opportunity.
