It was an award-winning day for hundreds of Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners who participated in Delaware’s Fall Festival Nov. 1-2 at the University of Delaware. The Special Olympics Delaware event, sponsored by Chase, attracted more than 700 athletes and their peers without disabilities who participated in bocce ball, flag football, soccer and volleyball. NBC 10’s John Clark emceed the sports extravaganza.
