Fringe Wilmington 2013 will feature musician and storyteller Andrew Potter will perform his critically-acclaimed one-man show, The Road to High Street, at the 2013 Fringe Wilmington Festival. Seated with a guitar and a microphone, Potter leads audiences through a series of stories, songs and video, and a constant flow of imagery – alternating between the poignant, the hilarious and the bizarre.
This solo piece is based on Potter’s experiences as part of the comedy juggling duo, The High Street Circus. From living in a beer tank to winning awards and traveling all over the world, The Road to High Street, tells the story of two successful street performers, through digital media and music. Potter takes audiences on the colorful journey of this unusual career, fused with themes of family, choices, and reconciliation.
