It felt like the dog days of summer as animal lovers and their furry friends took the one-mile walk around Wilmington’s Rockford Park on Sunday. The unusually warm temperatures didn’t wilt their spirits, though, as dog owners enjoyed an afternoon filed with action for their canine companions. The annual Tails Around the Tower is the Delaware Humane Association’s signature fundraising event.
