It was impossible to come away hungry after Sunday’s Taste of Newark, which featured delicacies from more than 50 area restaurants and fine wines from area distributors. The tenth annual event, featuring restaurants such as 16 Mile Taphouse, Cafe Gelato and Taverna Rustic Italian, entertainment and the much-anticipated “Battle of the Chefs,” is considered the ultimate foodie event in Newark.
