Lots in store at the 2013 Hootenanny Hoedown to benefit the Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County. The day’s festivities begin at 9am with a 5K Trail Race for Conservation over optional obstacles. Runners will have the opportunity to try their hand over an equestrian 3 Day Event course. Register for the 5K online at: https://www.runreg.com/Net/3587. Day of Registration is also available and opens at 7:30AM. A Children’s Run Over Obstacles for children ages 10 and under will take place at 10:00AM. Register online at: https://www.runreg.com/Net/3632. Day of registration will also be available. A Supervised Kid’s Activity Corner is offered to families that would otherwise have to provide child care during the trail race.
Come back in the evening for the Hootenanny Hoedown Wild West Saloon for live music by “The Coyotes,” BBQ style food, local brews and wine, table games, a silent auction, and a 50/50 Chicken Bingo. The evening festivities begin at 6pm. All proceeds from the event benefit TLC.
