TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life

Fri.,, Oct 4 and Sat.,, Oct 5 in Wilmington     ~

Help support the Delaware Tennis Foundation and join friends who enjoy playing the sport at the 2013 Pro Am Benefit, which kicks off Friday, October 4th with cocktails, dinner and an “auction” at DuPont Country Club in Wilmington. This isn’t a traditional auction. At this event, you will bid on your favorite tennis pros in the area and the chance to play tennis with them at Saturday’s tennis Pro-Ametuer match-up. Just by joining us for dinner ($60 per person), you will help the mission of the DTF to foster and support the development of tennis in a variety of ways throughout the State. But if you choose to bid and win, you will earn the rare opportunity to play with the finest athletes in the area and will come away with memories to last a lifetime. To place a dinner reservation, click here.

The tennis matches will also take place at DuPont Country Club on Sat., Oct 5 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm, and the public is invited to come out and watch these lively and competitive games of tennis. If you have any questions, please contact Monique Holloway at moniqueholloway@comcast.net.
