37-atlgThursday, July 25 at World Cafe Live’s Queen Theatre…

Catch Stephen Marley, the second son of Bob Marley, at World Cafe Live’s Queen Theatre on Thur., 7/25, as he delivers an acoustic performance prior to the film showing of “Marley,”  a film by Kevin MacDonald, also at The Queen. A Q&A panel discussion will also follow.

If you think you don’t know the music of Stephen Marley, you probably do — you just don’t realize it. A member of the celebrated Marley sibling group The Melody Makers since the age of seven, the Grammy-winning producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist has also been the driving creative force behind the music of his brothers. Stephen’s production, performance and writing credits recently earned him two Grammys-giving him a total of five: more than any other Marley family member or reggae artist in history.

Doors open at 6:00, show begins at 7:00 pm.

The film and performance help kick off the Peoples’ Festival 4 Peace weekend in Wilmington, which pays tribute to Bob Marley.
