Last week’s seventh annual B+ 5K brought more than 1,200 runners and walkers to Salesianum School to raise money to fight childhood cancer. The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation honors Andrew, who passed away at fourteen after battling leukemia and sepsis.
His family, inspired by the positive and enthusiastic way in which Andrew lived his life, established the B+ Foundation (also his blood type) to encourage and support other families in their battles against childhood cancer. Thanks to all who participated in and donated to this very worthy event!
