The Delaware Adolescent Program, Inc. celebrated its 45th anniversary with last weekend’s Empowerment Brunch, held at White Clay Creek Country Club. Mayor and Mrs. Williams served as honorary co-chairs and were joined by celebrity Chef Dana Herbert, who was on-hand to judge the organization’s inaugural cake decorating contest. With both a silent and live auction, and some tasty cakes to auction off, the organization raised more than $5,000 to help fulfill its mission of providing an educational alternative for pregnant and parenting teens.
