The Chinese American Community Center (“CACC”) will host the annual three-day Chinese Festival from 6/21 – 6/23.

- Saturday, June 22, 11 am to 9 pm
- Sunday, June 23, 12 to 6 pm
Since the inaugural event in 1992, the Chinese Festival has become a truly unique and important landmark tradition celebrating the rich diversity of Chinese culture in the Greater Wilmington region. Through exhibits, gourmet food, and cultural performances, the event attracts thousands every year.
“Ancient Chinese Jade Culture” exhibit showcases the beauty and aesthetics of the ancient Chinese jade pieces. The richness of jade genre and the intricate jade carving techniques make Chinese jade a distinctive form of art, culture and life. Chinese jade has influence on all walks of life and played a crucial role in Chinese politics, economy, culture, ideology, ethics and religion like no other art form. The festival will also present an exhibit of Jinshan Modern Folk Painting. The Chinese Festival features various cultural performances and demonstrations including Dragon Dance, Lion Dance, Folk Dance, Tai Chi, Cooking, Kung Fu, etc.
In addition to the exhibitions and versatile performances, the food court is always an attraction for visitors. Authentic Chinese cuisine is served. Visitors can sample home cooked dishes, Chinese barbecue chicken, beef and sausage, snacks and refreshments. email@example.com.
