Ronald McDonald himself was on hand to entertain kids of all ages at the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware’s 22nd birthday on Sunday. The free celebration included moon bounces, pony rides, face painting, a magic show and games throughout the day. There was even a cook-out, tasty carnival treats and a huge birthday cake. “We support this free event once a year to say thanks to the many people who give of their time to support the RMHDE every year and to lift the spirits of our residents,” said President and CEO Pam Cornforth. Just across the street from the Nemours/A. I. duPont Hospital for Children, the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware has served as a safe and affordable home away from home for thousands of needy families.
