The six-day Carnival at St. John the Beloved got off to a fantastic start, with hundreds of kids, parishioners, families and volunteers who came out for some good summer fun on Monday night. The annual tradition features some 25 rides for toddlers and big kids, and of course games of chance such as the fastest pitch, basketball, and the dunking booth. And from crab cakes to funnel cakes, the Carnival offers a little something for just about any foodie. The Carnival, which supports the athletic programs at the school, runs through Saturday, June 8th. Call (302) 999-0211 for more information.
