Picture 1 of 11

With sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s, the University of Delaware courts were on fire Wednesday afternoon with the best high school tennis of the year. And no teams were hotter than the Tower Hill Girls and St. Andrew’s Boys, who took home the 2013 DIAA Tennis State Championships. The Hiller ladies left Newark with their fourth straight state title, and the St. Andrew’s Saints produced four winning winning courts (2nd and 3rd singles, 1st and 2nd doubles) to come away with the top finish among the boys. Caesar Rodney placed second on the girls side while the boys from Tower Hill posted a strong silver medal performance, including two finals appearances at first singles and second doubles.
