Saturday, May 4, from 1 to 4 pm     ~

We are pleased to announce the 5th  Annual “Hear We Go” 5K Run/Walk on the beautifully blooming grounds of the Nemours Mansion and Gardens adjacent to Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children on Sat, May 4, 2013 at 1 PM. In addition to the run, this event includes fun family activities, live entertainment, refreshments, and an educational fair presented by the hospitals Audiology Department, Outpatient Therapeutic Services Department and the CPASS research group.

Proceeds from this event will help in improving early identification and management of hearing loss in affected children as well as improving the quality of life of these children and their families.  Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of proper and timely diagnosis and management of hearing loss in children in order to facilitate their language development. Register as an individual or build a team! Course is USATF certified # DE10001WB.

In addition to medals awarded to the top 3 overall male and female runners in 8 different age groups, awards will be given to the top 3 individuals and the top 3 teams with the highest donations.

• Collect pledges or send in a donation (a donation of any amount helps and is tax deductible)
• Volunteers needed – get a free T-shirt & Refreshments
• BUSINESSES: help a worthy cause & sponsor the run!
• Spread the word!

Registration fee: $20 prior to 3PM, May 2, 2013 @ $25 after and day of.

PARKING ALERT: Due to the construction of the new pavilion, participants will be required to park in the parking garage. Please follow signs from the main gate.
