The cherry blossoms are in bloom, a sure sign of spring and the perfect setting for the 2nd annual Friends of Wilmington Parks’ Cherry Blossom 5K! Participants at last Saturday’s race even had the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny, who hopped by to join the after-party at the Brandywine Zoo. Jackrabbits Matt Cutrona and Kirsten Blair took top honors in the field of nearly 475 finishers.
