The Caesar Rodney Half Marathon, one of the region’s “must-do” races, celebrated its fiftieth anniversary last Sunday, fittingly sharing the date with St. Patrick’s Day. The annual race, which benefits the American Lung Association, is known as a particularly challenging 13.1 miles. Among the Delebrities competing were Senator Carper, who ran his 31st CR; 6ABC’s Cecily Tynan; and Craig Holm, who holds the CR course record of 1:04:54 and has run the race every year. (Craig’s record was set in 1982, beating the old record of 1:06:28.)
