Delaware boxing fans were treated to a double national title event on Friday at the Chase Center in Wilmington. The first of its kind in the State, “Champs at the Chase” featured Frankie “The Freight Train” Filippone and “The New” Ray Robinson, who both won NABA title belts in front of a sell-out crowd of 1,400. And local favorite Joey Tiberi defeated Moses Molina in an action-packed four-round fight. The crowd included world heavyweight champion and Delaware resident Michael Spinks and event organizer and local boxing legend Dave Tiberi. The evening was capped off with the new title-holders displaying their belts and the live music of Love Seed Mama Jump.
