TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life

filename-1TSD will be sad to see Saturday’s US Mail home delivery go the way of the Dodo bird. For one thing, we might be missing some gems like what this past Saturday’s service brought to our box: “Breaking news” that erstwhile (perennial?) Congressional candidate Rose Izzo and her husband Kevin are getting into the car business up in Pennsylvania.

TSD does not believe it has ever seen the husband of a political candidate making use of their spouse’s unsuccessful candidacy in such a creative and entrepreneurial way. We’ve heard of influence peddling, but this is really putting the pedal to the metal!

filename-2Delaware is fortunate to be gifted by so many interesting individuals in our political life.  From John “prison pizza party” Atkins to the legally-besieged Richard Korn to Ms. Izzo and her husband Kevin, the First State sure has some first-rate, uhm, characters.

We wish the Izzos all the best in their new endeavor on behalf of the Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group.
