She started the day with a navy checker-patterned coat from Thom Brown, accented with a jeweled belt and purple gloves from J. Crew — a wise choice for the blustery outdoor ceremony. For the evening’s round of celebratory balls, she donned a fiery red chiffon and velvet gown that prompted Forbes to report that, thanks to the Jason Wu design, “Red is the new black.”
