FranksWine proprietor, Town Square Delaware contributor and ardent rock ‘n roll fan Frank Pagliaro scored fantastic seats to see the final show of the Rolling Stones’ 2012 50th anniversary run of dates – and shared photographic evidence with us! The Stones played their sixth and final show (although lead singer Mick Jagger hinted at future dates) at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ last Saturday night, following earlier shows in London and Brooklyn.
From Frank’s spot in the Tongue Pit (Stones fans need no explanation), he and buddy Michael Lucey of Six Paupers and Ulysses fame watched a conga line of special guests join the Stones on stage. John Mayer, the Black Keys, Lady Gaga and even Jersey boy himself Bruce Springsteen all took turns playing with rock ‘n roll royalty.
While the other members of the Pagliaro family watched the concert on Pay-Per-View, Frank paid a predictably steep price to see the Stones up close and personal. And? “It was worth every penny,” he said.
