Dancers, directors, stage and lighting crews were busy warming up today for an annual holiday favorite, “The Nutcracker” at the DuPont Theater in Wilmington. Under the guidance of their new artistic director Barbara Sandonato, the Wilmington Ballet Academy of the Dance includes over 40 students alongside New York City ballet principals Abi Stafford and Adrian Danchig-Waring as well as dancers from Ballet Fleming in Philadelphia and the Voloshky Ukrainian Dance Ensemble. Tickets are still available to each of the four performances — Sat., Dec 15 and Sun., Dec 16.
