Gladiators, Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, even Dipsy the Teletubby raced to the finish line at the 2nd annual Kind to Kids Halloween Hoopla 5K in Wilmington last weekend. Teams of students from Tatnall and Sanford School also sported costumes and sneakers in the race to help raise funds for kids who live in foster care or extreme poverty. U.S. Senator Chris Coons and his wife Annie served as honorary chairs of the event, which drew nearly 200 runners to Wilmington’s Riverfront.
