Young friends of the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware (RMHDE) in Wilmington kicked of the fall season with a cocktails and croquet event at Twin Lakes Brewery in Greenville on Sunday. Some 250 members of the Red Shoe Society enjoyed a sparkling afternoon with friends on the lush lawns of the brewery. Their price of admission, along with contributions generously donated by sponsors, will help support the cost to operate a guest room for one year at the Ronald McDonald House next to A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children. “We are so grateful to the Red Shoe Society for planning such a successful first-time event,” remarked Barbara Leoslein with RMHDE.
