Each year Delaware’s federal, state and local political leaders as well as other community and business leaders across the state participate in the Delaware Leadership Prayer Breakfast, modeled after the White House Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC. The group gathers to discuss ways to become more effective leaders in the State. This year’s keynote speaker: Artist/author/autism advocate Emily Colson, an advertising creative director who now devotes her time toward helping her son who was diagnosed with autism. Emily has pioneered an innovative communication system to assist her son.
