As car sales nationally make a comeback, Delaware’s auto dealers were poised for their pitch at the Chase Center on the Riverfront this weekend in Wilmington. The 2012 Delaware Auto Show featured some 200 of the coolest new cars, from more gas-efficient Jeeps and Hyundais to stunning Lamborghinis and Bentleys. Parents and their kids had a ball “test driving” some of their favorites. And to celebrate the occasion, “The Next Great Baker” winner Chef Dana Herbert and his team of sous chefs assembled a life-sized car cake, selling slices to benefit the Blood Bank of Delmarva.
