Guests at A Green Tie Affair swapped their black ties for green ones and headed to the Chase Center on the Riverfront for the Delaware Financial Literacy Institute soiree last Thursday. Sponsored by Citizens Bank, with support from Chase and AIG Bank, this financial education-themed cocktail party was both a fund-raiser and a friend-raiser, as attendees were encouraged to bring guests who weren’t acquainted with DFLI and its free financial literacy programs. Among the evening’s speakers was Victoria Costa, a precocious nine-year-old entrepreneur who stole the show with her homemade pillows!
