Some 50 associates with ING DIRECT turned out with bright orange T-shirts and heaps of energy to clean-up, landscape and paint Bancroft Elementary School in Wilmington in time for the start of a new school year. The annual Orange Days of Giving Lends Helpful Hands project took place on August 16th, in collaboration with the non-profit Children and Families First (CFF) and their Eastside Community Schools project, which supports students in the Christina school district. “Students are energized and ready to learn in the fall,” said CFF CEO Leslie Newman. “So we are excited students at Bancroft will return to a school with a fresh coat of paint, new plantings and and environment they can be proud of,” she remarked.
