TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life
Summer is here and so is the season of the Festival. Wilmington boasts an impressive array of festivals in the month of June, so make sure you get out into the sunshine and enjoy them!

This is not the time of the year to diet, with the amazing food offered at the St. Anthony’s Italian Festival and the Wilmington Greek Festival (going on now!). Instead of getting lunch at the local deli, call or fax your order in at the Greek Festival and pick it up curbside…within minutes you are transported to Athens! Or better yet, take a night (or 5!) and enjoy the food, drinks and music offered at the St. Anthony’s Italian Festival. A perfect venue for adults and children, you can partake in the amusement rides and games or just decide to drink at the Bellini Bar and dance under the romantic lights to the variety of bands.

After you are done stuffing yourself, the following week head to Rodney Square for the Clifford Brown Jazz Fest, Wilmington’s premier music festival. Grab a blanket and your cooler and head there every night to see the various acts perform.
