Ronald McDonald paid a visit to Wilmington’s Riverfront last weekend at the 23rd annual Ronald McDonald House of Delaware 5K. The race drew an impressive 999 registered runners and walkers to Frawley Stadium in Wilmington’s Riverfront, helping raise funds and visibility for the organization. Organizers ran the race in partnership with The Blue Rocks, and all runners/walkers received a free ticket to the Blue Rocks game on June 7th, in celebration of the 21st birthday of the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware. Providing a “home away from home,” the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware offers tremendous support to families with hospitalized children.
