TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life

More than 300 volunteers, non-profit board members and event organizers turned out for a boffo party in their honor last week. The event, hosted by the popular, powerful and positive Pettinaro ladies — Vicky, Tracy, Cindy and Midge — celebrated Delaware women making a difference. The setting — three model homes at The Pointe, new luxury condominiums on the Brandywine River.  The Pettinaros offered up several raffles, including $1,000 to the charity of a winner’s choice, which was awarded to the Auxillary of the A.I duPont Children’s Hospital. Other raffle items were donated by businesses including Peter Kate, Signature Sitters, Angersteins, Houpette, Lily Bracelets and Designer Consigner.
