Government transparency advocates from across the state gathered Monday night at UD’s Goodstay Center in Wilmington to hear from Kenneth Bunting, a veteran national newsman and the Executive Director of the National Freedom of Information Coalition. Bunting’s talk, hosted by the Delaware Coalition for Open Government, the Delaware Press Association and the League of Women Voters of Delaware, focused on “Freedom of Information in a Digital Age.”
DelCOG President John Flaherty, board members Bill Pearson and Katherine Ward, the News Journal’s intrepid Chad Livengood, WDEL’s Mark Fowser and State Representative Mike Ramone were among the open government champions in attendance.
