TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life

On Monday, November 7th, Wilmington’s Dupont Country Club hosted the Opening Night of “The Perfect Gift,” the longest-running charitable gift show of its kind in the country. A great group of early shoppers enjoyed a sneak preview of Delaware’s largest gift show, which will open its doors today for General Admission. Exhibitors from all over the country are selling everything from handmade jewelry and home accessories, to personalized baby gifts, oversized fleece blankets, delicious candy and barrel-aged wine vinegars from California. Award-winning toy store Lighten Up!  is back, with the right brain teasers for kids of any age on your holiday shopping list. Show hours are Tue., 11/8 — 9:30 am to 8 pm, Wed., 11/9 — 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is $10.
