TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life

Thousands of stacks of pancakes were devoured for a good cause at the Shipyard Shops in Wilmington on Saturday morning thanks to the organizing phenomenon known as Team Fox Delaware and their annual “Pancakes for Parkinsons.” This year’s event was particularly special with surprise guest Michael J. Fox himself making a dramatic appearance to thank attendees for their support of Parkinson’s Research (while plugging Canadian maple syrup with those pancakes).  Gov. Jack Markell and First Lady Carla Markell were among the hundreds who came out to enjoy the hot breakfast, family fun and great tunes by legendary local band, Input 6.
