TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life

Tennis enthusiasts of all levels spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon competing in the Bunny Vosters Open at the Wilmington Country Club.  The annual event honors the memory of local sports legend Bunny Vosters, the holder of a remarkable 48 US National Tennis titles and a 12-time national squash champion. The tournament raises funds for an award that is presented to the Delaware girls and boys high school teams that best embody Bunny’s great sportsmanship and kindness on and off the court as well as support for junior tennis programs throughout the area.
