TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life

Wanted:
2-4 rising sophomores, juniors or seniors as summer interns with TownSquareDelaware, a new Delaware digital media initiative.

Launched live on May 16, TownSquareDelaware.com is the first new media venture of its kind in Delaware.  TSD brings together the most influential and opinionated Delaware leaders to discuss things that matter most to the state – from policy to politics to business to sports and culture.  With technological changes dramatically altering traditional media consumption patterns, TSD aims to nurture a new kind of media community, one that is based exclusively online and deeply integrated with social media.

We are looking for 2-4 dynamic, ambitious, and creative go-getters, preferably rising UD sophomores, juniors or seniors with strong writing and communications skills and an interest in new media.  Some affiliation with The Review is a plus. Those with interest and experience in multi-media are strongly encouraged to apply.

Duties:  Approximately 4 hours per day from June 1 through August  12th.  Duties will include some copy editing and proof reading but interns will be strongly encouraged to pitch and cover stories and will have significant opportunity to develop by-line visibility.  Interns will get the chance to work closely with a team of distinguished Delawareans, receive creative and constructive professional feedback, and learn about all aspects of a digital media startup company.

If interested please send your CV and a brief cover letter to  Nathan@new.delawarelive.com.
