The Perfect Gift dazzles in their new location this year — the Pavilion at Winterthur Museum & Library, and shoppers at Opening Night on Thursday said they loved the new venue.
Saturday is the final day of the gift show, and the hours are 9:30 to 4pm. $10 admission.
The new historic space lends a beautiful and inviting aesthetic to the show, which shoppers have not experienced before. “We are so fortunate to be able to offer The Perfect Gift at such an iconic and significant site this year,” said co-chair Zig Sheilds. “It really feels like you are in a grand home, and each room dazzles with extraordinary offerings from our many vendors.”
This is the 97th year of The Perfect Gift, presented by The Christmas Shop Foundation. The Wilmington event is the longest running charitable gift show of its kind in the country.
Nearly 40 exhibitors – most from outside of the Wilmington area – offer gifts, home accents, handbags, apparel, kids plush toys and games, and food. Twenty percent of all sales and admission revenue will be allocated to multiple charities and nonprofit organizations throughout the state at the conclusion of the event.
