Thousands bid farewell to summer at a Delaware festival favorite: the 109th Arden Fair and Antiques Market on Saturday. Featuring live music, folk dancing, crafts, and a large book sale, the fair is the premier fundraiser of the year for the village of Arden. With fun for the entire family, several fair volunteers could be seen offering face painting, caricature drawings, balloons, games and rides for children. Kids even stepped up to dance instruction in the popular Shady Grove concert area. Delaware’s longest-running festival and its many attractions require the work of hundreds of volunteers, who support the non-profit Arden Club.
