Chowdown for Charity Raises $10,000 for DE Kids

The 4th annual Chowdown for Charity featured a friendly culinary competition among 10 Delaware beach restaurants who competed for the title Chowdown Champion 2016. And while the 150 guests seemed to love all of the tasty offerings, it was Bethany Blues’ Carolina-style pork taco served with homemade apple slaw that won top honors. The Southern chapter of the Next Generation of the Delaware Community Foundation hosted this popular fundraiser at on February 6th at Baywood Greens in Millsboro and raised $10,000 to support local non-profits that provide children’s mental health services.
