Diner the Musical – Opening Night at DTC

Baltimore circa 1959 came to Delaware this weekend with the boffo debut of “Diner ~ the Musical,” which opened to a sell-out crowd at Wilmington’s Delaware Theatre Company on Saturday night. Based on the book and movie by Barry Levinson and with original music and lyrics by Sheryl Crow (who was seen at Harry’s Seafood pre-show), the latest production to hit the DTC stage drew big local theatre-goers including Governor Jack Markell and First Lady Carla Markell, former DuPont CEO Ellen Kullman and husband Michael, and DTC board members including Grier Flinn, Penny Saridakis, Brett Jones, Rod Ward and many more.
