Costume Craze at Halloween Hoopla 5K

Capes, swords, tutus and masks didn’t slow runners and walkers at this year’s Halloween Hoopla 5k. Kind to Kids‘ annual fun-filled community Halloween race draws several hundred spirited walkers and runners to Wilmington’s Riverfront every year and includes music, dancing, pumpkin painting, arts and crafts, candy, and of course judging for best costumes. The 5th annual costumed race took place on October 31st at Dravo Plaza. The race raises funds for children in foster care and poverty.

The Kind to Kids Foundation is now collecting toys and gift cards for children and teens for the holidays. The toys and gifts will be distributed to children in foster care at holiday foster care events statewide during the month of December.
