Pinterest enthusiasts, take note! TSD’s good friend Ryan Kennedy sent us some priceless photos of an opening day at the ballpark he and his family will never forget. With his permission, we’re sharing them with you. In celebration of son Luke’s first birthday, Kennedy Field hosted its first big league game, complete with pitching mound, foul poles and of course, plenty of peanuts, popcorn and Cracker Jacks!
For those interested in replicating this field of dreams, don’t ask Ryan. He says wife Lizette “did 95 percent of the work” in envisioning and executing the World Series event, and brother Jason “built the whole thing.” Happy birthday, Luke!
