Chase and Rodney Street Serve Up a Day of Tennis & Fun

The Chase #ReturnTheServe campaign has been an ace for the Rodney Street Tennis & Tutoring Association! RSTTA, Wilmington’s only non-profit youth tennis and education program, was one of 10 National Junior Tennis and Learning chapters chosen to host a “Return the Serve” Fun Day and to receive $10,000 from Chase, in partnership with the USTA Foundation. With a special appearance by Olympic Gold Medalist and doubles champion Gigi Fernandez, some 150 kids from Wilmington community centers and day camps learned tennis skills and enjoyed games, arts and crafts, prizes and a nutritious lunch. The $10,000 will assist in the program implementation of the A.C.E. (Academic Creative Engagement) curriculum, connected to the Common Core State and National Educational Standards.
