Starbucks Coming to Greenville: 19807 Braces for Coffee Showdown

IMG_1205Kennett Pike coffee drinkers will soon have a choice for their $5 lattes. Sources on site at the former Cosi in Powder Mill Square confirm the location is undergoing construction to make way for the global coffee colossus Starbucks, just steps away from dominant local incumbent Brew Ha Ha!‘s flagship store.
The doors on Starbuck’s latest First State location will likely open later this summer, though no specific date has been offered. The chain is known to scout locations carefully before investing, but Brew Ha Ha! Greenville’s clientele is famously loyal. Local observers expressed surprise but appreciation for the impending coffee competition.

  • Never understood why Brew Ha Ha was so popular in Greenville. Stopped in a few times and was always amazed how dirty the place looked. Dirty dishes within customer view….and the floor always looked filthy. They need some competition. Maybe now they’ll invest in a mop!

  • I am soooo very happy of the CHANGE Brew haha was a Mess! Workers Never friendly, place dark and just old yet the Price List was as if you were in Starbucks smh
