The Delaware Theatre Company’s Nora, which opened last week, has received enthusiastic acclaim by theater goers and critics. Nora is a shortened adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, which is the story of an oppressed housewife who fights for her family but later realizes she must also fight for herself. The News Journal called the DTC’s production “passionate,” and phindie.com said the play is “a riveting production of a feminist classic.” The DTC’s Nora, recommended for a Barrymore Award for Excellence in Theatre, runs through Feb. 22.
