Making Waves at the Lewes Polar Bear Plunge!

Thousands braved the chilly temperatures of the Atlantic on February 1st at the annual Lewes Polar Bear Plunge. Over 3,000 Delawareans got all dressed up only to end up freezing cold and soaking wet after taking the plunge for Special Olympics Delaware. The water was a frigid 37 degrees! This year’s fundraiser broke all records, raising $780,000 for the 3,700 children and adults who participate in Special Olympics Delaware.
