Three Crowned at Hockessin Pageant

And the winner is…  Three talented women earned local pageant titles last night from the Miss Delaware Scholarship Organization. University of Delaware graduate student Jennifer Ferris, the newly-crowned 2015 Miss Hockessin, is earning her masters degree in Museum Studies and will compete to become the next Miss Delaware.


The Tatnall School’s Tori Knox earned the Miss Congeniality award as voted on by her peers and is 2015’s Miss Hockessin’s Outstanding Teen. Tori volunteers with special needs children and is looking forward to taking part in the Lewes Polar Bear Plunge (benefitting Special Olympics Delaware) next month. The title 2015 Miss Greenville’s Outstanding Teen was awarded to Delmar Senior High School student Kayleigh Barnes. (Contestants need only be a resident of Delaware to compete in any of the local pageants.) Several 2014 pageant winners were on hand to pass the baton on to the newly crowned winners including, Miss Delaware 2014 Brittany Lewis, who emceed the evening.
