Caesar Rodney Half Marathon

“Can you PR at CR?” was the question on runners’ minds at the 51st running of Delaware’s oldest, continually run road race, the Caesar Rodney Half Marathon. Known as one of the toughest races regionally – which makes achieving a PR, or personal record, difficult – the 13.1 course begins at Rodney Square, runs through the Riverfront area, up to Rockford Park, along Route 52 and the Brandywine and finishes on a killer quarter-mile stretch uphill on Market Street. More than 1,500 runners participated in the 5K and 13.1 distances, with proceeds benefiting the American Lung Association.
