6 Wrongfully Accused in "The Exonerated"

The critically acclaimed play The Exonerated, which features true stories from six death row survivors, opens tonight at the Delaware Theatre Company in Wilmington. The popular Off Broadway play by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen reveals compelling tales of men who spent between three and 20 years on death row before finally being freed with the benefit of DNA testing. It was later turned into a widely-released film with A-list actors and gut wrenching performances. The play unveils the truth behind the stories of the wrongfully accused, the shocking details of their imprisonment, and their passionate journey to freedom. The Exonerated opens tonight at the DTC and runs through March 9th.
